Common questions
Which printers does Print Kiosk support?
Most DNP, Mitsubishi, and Canon Selphy dye-sub printers — the industry standard for event photo printing. The kiosk handles multi-printer setups, auto-routes jobs by queue length to keep wait times down, and alerts staff when paper or ribbons run low. Inkjet printers are not supported.
How do guests pick a photo and start a print?
They walk up to the kiosk, find their photos (via Face Match selfie, SMS link, or browsing), pick a favorite, choose layout (single, strip, collage), confirm branding, and tap print. From tap to printed photo is about 15–30 seconds on a standard dye-sub. Guests can print multiple copies of the same photo.
Can I cap how many prints each guest gets?
Yes. Per-guest print limits are configurable — 1, 3, 5, unlimited, or whatever matches your paper budget. Once a guest hits their limit, the kiosk offers them digital delivery instead and prevents additional prints. The limit resets per event, so repeat attendees are not penalized across events.
What happens if the printer jams or runs out of paper during the event?
The kiosk detects jams and paper-out states, pauses the queue, and shows a staff alert on the device and in the portal. Guests in line keep their place and are notified the moment the printer is back. Multi-printer setups auto-route to a working printer so the queue keeps moving.
The takeaway
that outlasts any digital post.
A branded print on someone's fridge does more than a social post ever will. Set it up in minutes.
