Photo Booth

Self-service portraits.
Studio quality. No photographer.

A pro camera, studio lighting, and an iPad running BrandStudio. Guests walk up, take their photos, see them instantly, and get their favorite on their phone in seconds.

Guests walk up to a booth that runs itself

From the screen that draws them in to the photo in their pocket — every step happens on its own, no operator needed.

Photos guests actually want to keep
iPad runs the booth. Your tethered camera takes the photo — Canon with full control, or any PTP mirrorless or DSLR over USB. Real glass, real sensor, not a webcam selfie.
Pulls guests over when no one is there
An animated branded attract screen runs when the booth is idle, drawing guests in. It auto-returns after each session — no staff needed to reset it.
From hello to thank-you, it feels like your event
Welcome, countdown, review, thank-you — every screen a guest touches carries your colors, logo, and messaging, so the whole booth feels like part of the show, not a rented kiosk.
Your brand is on it before they get it
Logo, frame, watermark — baked into every photo before the link reaches their phone. What guests save and share always carries your event.
Sponsor-ready creative, not just a snapshot
In the gallery, Photo Spreads drop booth photos onto designed graphic backgrounds — polished, shareable creative for sponsors and campaigns, no Photoshop.
On their phone in seconds
Scan the QR right at the booth, or get a branded text — usually within 10 seconds on solid Wi-Fi. No app, no account, works for every guest.
Set it up once, relaunch in one tap
Save any booth config — welcome screen, countdown, camera, delivery — as a template. Your next event is ready without rebuilding a thing.
Their loop is in a story before the next group
Flip on burst mode and guests walk away with a branded animated loop, built for stories and social — the kind of post that gets shared before they’ve even left the line.
Guests frame themselves on the big screen
With a Canon tethered, the iPad shows the camera’s live view during the countdown — guests see exactly what the lens sees and nail the pose. Other tethered bodies (Sony, Nikon, Fuji) capture to the booth without live view. (Want a lighter, iPad-camera setup? That’s Selfie Studio.)

Common questions

How does Photo Booth handle guests without a phone?

Three fallbacks: print the photo on a connected printer for physical delivery, email it to an address they type in, or let them punch in any phone to receive the link (theirs, a partner's, or a rental). The booth never assumes a smartphone — every guest walks away with their photo.

What camera should I use for a photo booth — iPad camera or a mirrorless?

Mirrorless or DSLR if image quality matters (conferences, product launches, premium activations). iPad front camera if quick and social is the vibe (festivals, casual events). The booth software runs the same either way — an iPad UI drives a tethered pro camera, or falls back to the iPad camera itself.

Does the booth need a staff member to run it?

No. The attract screen draws guests over when nobody is using it, the flow is fully guided, and the booth auto-returns to idle after inactivity. Staff is only needed for occasional paper refills on print booths or to help a guest who has never used an iPad. Most events run the booth unattended.

Can I save a booth configuration and reuse it for repeat events?

Yes. Templates save the whole booth config — welcome screen, countdown, camera settings, branded overlays, delivery method, GIF options. One-tap launch on the next event. Teams running the same activation at multiple stops (a tour, a seasonal campaign) duplicate a template rather than rebuild every time.
