Can I try BrandStudio before paying?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 event with 50 photos and full access to core tools — capture, booth, galleries, face recognition, and notifications. No credit card required. When you need unlimited events, upgrade anytime.
What's included in the platform fee?
Everything on your plan tier. Essentials adds unlimited events, custom branding, brand kits, and watch folder. Pro adds photo styles, slideshows, custom registration, analytics, print stations, and a custom domain. Business adds unlimited brand kits, per-brand-kit custom domains, and priority support. Storage is included with every paid plan.
How does cloud storage work?
Essentials includes 100 GB (~20k photos), Pro includes 250 GB (~50k photos), and Business includes 500 GB (~100k photos). If you need more, add 100 GB blocks for $5/mo each from your billing settings. Storage is powered by Cloudflare R2, which means zero egress fees — guests downloading photos doesn't cost you anything.
How does face recognition work?
Face recognition is included on all plans, including Free. Guests take a selfie at check-in, and BrandStudio automatically matches them to their photos throughout the event. They get a personal gallery link with just their photos — no manual tagging needed.
Are there per-device fees?
No. BrandStudio has no per-device pricing. Use as many iPhones, iPads, and Macs as you want. Tether your camera, set up guest selfie stations, or hand devices to your team — all on one subscription.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes! Annual billing saves 10–20%. Essentials drops from $99 to $89/mo (save $120/yr). Pro drops from $199 to $179/mo (save $240/yr). Business drops from $299 to $239/mo (save $720/yr).
How do custom domains work?
Pro includes 1 custom domain at the company level (e.g., photos.yourstudio.com). Business gives you a custom domain per Brand Kit, so each client brand can have its own gallery URL.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is always yours. If you downgrade, existing events and photos remain accessible. You just can't create new events beyond your plan limit until you upgrade again.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe.
What is photographer certification?
Certified photographers are vetted professionals listed in our public directory. Brands can discover and invite them directly. Certification requires an active paid plan with annual billing.
