Common questions
Does face recognition work if a guest is wearing sunglasses, a hat, or a mask?
Partially — a full mask breaks matching, but sunglasses and hats usually do not. We match on outfit data (color, pattern, texture) alongside the face, which catches guests when their face is partially blocked or turned away. If the first photo has sunglasses on, a second un-obstructed photo later in the event usually fills the gap.
How accurate is Face Match compared to other event photo platforms?
We match on both face and outfit, while most competitors match faces only. In practice this means we catch photos where a guest is turned sideways, partially behind someone, or looking down. Accuracy also improves through the event as the system sees each guest from more angles.
Do guests need an account or app to use Face Match?
No account, no app. A guest scans a QR code or taps a link, takes one selfie, and gets a branded personal gallery link via SMS with every photo and video they appear in. Takes under 20 seconds, works on any phone, no download required.
Is Face Match included in every plan or do I need to upgrade?
