Badge to Gallery

Scan a badge. Shoot.
The lead gets the photos.

Every conference guest already carries their contact info on a lanyard. One scan turns it into a registered guest, a tagged photo session, and a branded gallery on their phone — while your booth line keeps moving.

Where this works

Trade show booth headshots

Scan the badge, shoot the headshot, next in line. The attendee walks off with a branded gallery link — and you walk off with a qualified lead.

One scan does the whole check-in

Point the camera at the badge. In under a second the attendee is registered, their session is started, face matching is enrolled, and their personal gallery exists. Five steps become one.

  • Reads QR, barcode, and vCard badge formats
  • Roster sync from Cvent, Eventbrite, vFairs, and Expo Logic — CSV for everything else
  • Six matching fallbacks, down to fuzzy name match for smudged badges

Built for expo-hall Wi-Fi

Sync the attendee roster to the device before doors open, and badges match on the device itself. The line keeps moving when the venue network doesn’t.

  • One tap pulls the full roster onto the device
  • Scans stay instant with zero bars — matches happen on-device
  • Queued check-ins and texts sync the moment the network returns

The photos close the loop with sales

Every attendee gets their photos in a branded gallery by text. Every scan becomes a contact with context — photographed, delivered, consented — flowing to your CRM as it happens.

  • Personal branded gallery delivered by SMS or email
  • Signed webhooks fire on registration and check-in — wire them to any CRM via Zapier
  • Post-show CSV: contacts, photos, delivery status, consent

Common questions

Which registration platforms does the badge scan work with?

Cvent, Eventbrite, vFairs, and Expo Logic sync their attendee rosters directly. For any other platform, upload a CSV of attendees before the event — badges match on scan either way. Standard vCard, QR, and barcode formats are read natively.

What happens when the expo-hall Wi-Fi dies?

You keep scanning. Sync the roster to the device before doors open and badges match on the device itself — no network round-trip. Scans queue and sync up the moment the connection returns, and the last-synced time is always visible.

What if someone’s badge is smudged or won’t scan?

The matcher falls back through six tiers — badge code, platform ID, guest code, email, phone, then fuzzy name match — so a beaten-up badge usually still resolves. Worst case, the photographer searches the roster by name and taps to confirm.

How do the leads get back to our sales team?

Every registration and check-in can fire a signed webhook to your CRM through Zapier or your own endpoint, as it happens. After the show, export the full guest list as CSV — contact info, photos taken, delivery status, and consent on record.

Do attendees need an app to get their photos?

No. Their photos land in a personal branded gallery, delivered by text or email. One tap opens it — no app, no account, no password.

The badge was the form all along

Stop asking attendees to spell their email at a booth. Scan what they're already wearing, and let the photos carry your follow-up.
