Common questions
What actually keeps working when the venue wifi drops?
Capture (photos save on the device first), guest check-in, the Photo Booth, and the print kiosk all keep running. Texts, emails, Face Match, and the web gallery wait for the connection — photos and messages queue on the device and go out the moment it returns.
How does BrandStudio recover if a device loses its network mid-event?
Photos stay on the capture device in a local queue with timestamps and guest assignments intact. When the network returns, Confidence Sync detects it and resumes uploads in order. Guests who were queued for SMS get their messages once the queue drains — usually within a minute of reconnection.
Can guests still see photos while the venue is offline?
At the print kiosk, yes: it browses and prints from photos cached on the device. A guest's own phone needs the internet to open their gallery, so their links go out once the connection returns.
How long can an event run fully offline before we lose data?
Practically unlimited. Photos store on device storage, which for a capture iPhone or iPad means thousands of images before you'd hit a limit. A 12-hour event with zero venue connectivity fits comfortably, and everything syncs cleanly afterward the moment you're back on a network. Device storage is the only constraint.
