Event WiFi drops.
Your photos don't.
Convention center WiFi drops mid-shoot. Hotel ballrooms have dead zones. 10,000 attendees crush the bandwidth. BrandStudio keeps working through all of it — capture, gallery, printing, and booth all run offline. Photos upload the moment connection restores.
The problem every event photographer knows
10,000 attendees all sharing one convention center WiFi
Your photo upload stalls. Guest galleries stop loading. Print queue freezes.
Venue switches WiFi networks mid-event
Every device disconnects. Your tethered capture drops. WebSocket updates stop.
Basement ballroom with zero signal
No internet at all. Most photo platforms are completely dead.
Client expects 2,000 headshots delivered same-day
You can't afford 30 seconds of downtime, let alone 30 minutes.
BrandStudio is built for this. Every core feature works offline. Devices sync over the local network. Uploads queue automatically and complete when connectivity returns.
No empty galleries. Ever.
Other platforms send the gallery link the moment a session ends — and guests open an empty page. With BrandStudio, the link is only sent after every photo is verified uploaded. The guest opens their gallery and everything is there.
- Link sent before photos finish uploading
- Guest opens empty or partial gallery
- Photos trickle in over minutes or hours
- Guest thinks it's broken, leaves
- Photos upload in background after session
- Every file verified before link is sent
- Guest opens complete gallery on first visit
- Every photo and video clip ready to download
What works offline
Capture never stops
Shoot on iPhone, iPad, or tethered camera with zero internet. Photos save locally and sync when you reconnect.
Guests still get their photos
The local gallery works without WiFi. Guests browse and download on-site, no cloud needed.
Prints keep coming
The print queue runs on-device. Guests get their prints immediately, no internet round-trip.
Booth never goes down
Overlays, GIFs, and branded sessions all run without connectivity. The experience stays seamless.
Sessions stay organized
Create sessions, add guests, and tag photos offline. Everything uploads when connection returns.
Badge scanning works offline
QR codes resolve from the cached guest roster. No internet needed to identify attendees.
Local Quick Transfer
Photos move between devices on the same network instantly. Your iPad and booth feed the same gallery in real time — no cloud, no latency.
- Auto-discovers nearby devices on your network
- Transfers in seconds over WiFi or Ethernet
- Test venue networks ahead of time or bring your own router
Cloud Sync
When internet is available, photos upload in the background. This powers face recognition, SMS delivery, and the web gallery — all while Local Quick Transfer keeps running.
- Capture never pauses for uploads
- Face recognition starts the moment photos hit the cloud
- Runs in parallel with Local Quick Transfer

Common questions
What actually keeps working when the venue wifi drops?
Capture (photos record locally), the live event gallery on a local device, Print Kiosk, and Photo Booth UI all keep running. Messaging and cloud gallery sync pause — photos queue on device and upload the moment connectivity returns. The photographer and booth operator see no disruption.
How does BrandStudio recover if a device loses its network mid-event?
Photos stay on the capture device in a local queue with timestamps and guest assignments intact. When the network returns, the app detects it and resumes uploads in order. Guests who were queued for SMS get their messages once the queue drains — usually within a minute of reconnection.
Is there a guest-facing offline gallery so they can still see photos?
Yes — when offline, the iPad running the booth or capture app can display a local gallery of that device's photos. Guests can review and select favorites without a network. Once the wifi comes back, the local gallery syncs up and guests get their SMS delivery links.
How long can an event run fully offline before we lose data?
Practically unlimited. Photos store on device storage, which for a capture iPhone or iPad means thousands of images before you'd hit a limit. We have shot 12-hour events with zero venue connectivity and synced everything cleanly afterward over hotel wifi. Device storage is the only constraint.
Never depend
on venue WiFi again.
Your next trade show or conference deserves a photo platform that works regardless of the internet. BrandStudio does.
