The Sharing Station says "Sent to printer" only once the printer has the job, and "Queued" within seconds when the printer is down

Photos first or videos first in galleries

Choose whether a session's photos or its videos come first in the guest gallery. Set it per event, or once in your brand kit for every event.

Tool settings in the portal now save as you change them. There is no Save button to forget: the top of the page says Saving, then All changes saved.

A Photo Style for each booth, plus built-in black and white

Give each booth its own Photo Style, so one booth can shoot black and white while another shoots colour at the same event. Three black-and-white looks come built in.

Camera Controller: Focus Mode and Kelvin white balance

Switch a tethered Canon between One Shot and AI Servo from the app, with no unplugging. White balance is set in Kelvin, and photos never shoot on Auto.

Photo Booth settings now open on a Guest Flow overview. Pick how guests check in, then read every step from the start screen to the photos-ready message, with a link to change each one.

Four starting points: Photos first, Contact before photos, Scan registration QR, or Scan or type
Each step shows what the guest is asked, what gets sent to them, and when
Settings that fight each other are flagged in place, like asking for a phone number while texts are off

See whether each session's gallery was opened

Every booth session now shows whether its gallery link was opened, and how: from the booth QR, a text or email, or a shared link. Your own clicks from the portal are not counted.

"Viewed 3" or "Not opened" on every session card, and "N of M opened" for the event
A breakdown by source, with the first and last open in the venue's local time
Link previews in iMessage, Slack and similar apps are not counted as views
A reload by the same person within five minutes counts once
No IP addresses are stored for these views

Gallery folders now carry their own settings: show a folder as a grid or grouped by session, set its photo order, and give it its own link. Each capture station can have a gallery link of its own.

With the Gallery Gate on, guests answer the same questions as your registration form, in the same design, before the photos open. Set your questions up once and both places ask them.

Simplified action bar for easier sharing

In Instant Photo, Text and Email are now two separate buttons, Print prints the photo you picked, and Delete sits in the corner where it is hard to hit by mistake.

Insights now has a per-guest delivery table and splits delivery by text and email. Counts are people, not messages: links sent against links viewed, and unique people detected rather than raw faces.

Add your own questions to the registration form

Ask guests what you need to know when they register, like a ZIP code or company name. Their answers show up in the Guests table and in your guest CSV export.

Guest names on downloaded files

When a guest saves a photo from their gallery, the filename says who is in it and what event it came from — spring-gala-jane-obrien-003.jpg, not IMG_4127.jpg. Single saves and full-gallery downloads, videos included.

The name comes from the badge scan or the registration form — wherever the event already knows the guest
Filenames are cleaned for every computer: accents fold, apostrophes drop, nothing a filesystem will choke on
Group sessions name the person downloading, plus a count for the rest — jane-obrien+2
No name on file? The download falls back to a clean event name. A phone number never ends up in a filename
The File Naming template on the event now shapes real downloads, with a live preview that matches what guests actually get
Off by default — flip "Include the guest's name" on the event or the brand when you want it

The mobile gallery handles 5,000-photo events

Guests can browse a big event's gallery on a phone without the browser giving up. Pinch to zoom works properly, scrolling stays smooth however deep they go, and the crash on long viewing sessions is gone.

Turn on GDPR Mode and the event asks before it takes. Registration collects real consent, face search waits for a yes, and every AI tool tells a guest where their photo goes before the shutter fires.

Show guests only what they can print

A guest walks up to the Sharing Station, finds their session, and sees four things where they remember taking three photos. The fourth is the recap video, and it is the one thing that will not come out of the printer. You can now leave it off that screen.

AI background replacement in the Photo Booth

Upload scene photos in the portal. At the booth, the guest taps the scene they want and poses, and the iPad uses AI to cut them out of the room and place them in that scene. The finished photo is ready in seconds.

Save an event with a venue address and the city, state, ZIP, country and map pin fill themselves in. It only ever fills blanks, so anything you typed by hand stays exactly as you typed it.

The Sharing Station settings now sit under the tab their name implies, brand kits import cleaner colours from your website, and a few controls that had quietly lost their home are back.
