Tap to Tag — send photos by tapping a face
Tap-to-Tag lets a photographer (or kiosk attendant) tap a guest's face on a photo and type their phone or email once. That guest is added to the session and receives their photos, and every later photo of the same face is routed to them automatically.
Sessions + matching:- The session is the source of truth — tapping a face adds the guest to the active session, so they get those photos even if matching never runs (your reliable fallback).
- Matching is the silent accelerator that routes the right photos and future shots. Guests and photographers never see "facial recognition" wording — it just works.
Consent: Immediate by default. For Illinois (BIPA), Texas (CUBI), Washington, or clients that require explicit biometric consent, turn on Require consent for the event: the guest still gets their session photos right away, but matching their other photos waits until they accept the gallery terms.
