Common questions
How does Slideshow update as new photos are captured?
Photos stream into the slideshow the moment they are uploaded — usually 3–10 seconds after capture. The slideshow pulls from the event gallery, applies your branded overlay, and loops with cinematic transitions. No refresh, no manual update. You keep shooting and the screen keeps updating.
What hardware runs the slideshow display?
Any modern browser on any device — Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, a laptop plugged into a projector, a digital signage player. The slideshow is a URL. Load it on the device plugged into the screen and it runs. 1080p and 4K both look clean because photos upload at full resolution.
Can I control which photos appear on the slideshow?
Yes. You can hide individual photos from the event gallery (the slideshow respects those), restrict the feed to a specific session or folder, or pre-moderate so only approved photos appear. For sensitive events, admins moderate from the portal while the slideshow runs — hidden photos disappear within seconds.
Does the slideshow need internet to keep running?
Yes — photos stream from the cloud gallery. For events with flaky wifi, point the slideshow device at a cell hotspot or a local cache. If the connection drops, the slideshow keeps looping the photos it already has; new photos join once the network returns. The screen never goes blank.
