Sync the Attendee Roster Before Doors
Pull your attendee list in before doors open, so badge scans know who everyone is.
Where the list comes from- An event platform: open the event's Badge Scanner tool, choose the Connection (vFairs, Cvent, Eventbrite, or Expo Logic), set the Field Mapping, and click Sync Now. vFairs has run at live events; the Cvent, Eventbrite, and Expo Logic connections are early, so test them with your account before the event.

When to syncThe morning of the event, and again shortly before doors if late registrations are common. Syncing again mid-event is safe.
How scans are matched- BrandStudio QR codes (the ones guests get when they register with you) match on the device itself, even with no signal
- Badges from an event platform are matched by our servers, so those scans need a connection to resolve. With no signal, they're saved and matched when the device reconnects.Open Badge Scanner
