Sync the Attendee Roster Before Doors
Badge scanning is fastest — and works with zero Wi-Fi — when the attendee roster is on the device before doors open.
Where rosters come from- Cvent, Eventbrite, vFairs, Expo Logic — connect the platform once in event settings and pull the latest roster on demand
- CSV upload — a spreadsheet with names, emails, phones, and badge codes works for any other platform
How to sync1. Open the Badge Scanner tool on the device
2. Tap Sync Roster
3. The roster caches on the device — you’ll see the record count and a “last synced” time
4. Tap Resync anytime to pull updates
When to syncSync the morning of the event — that’s the one required step. If late registrations are common (they are, at conferences), resync shortly before doors. Resyncing mid-event is safe: the fresh roster replaces the cached one and recorded scans stay intact.
