Camera Tethering (iOS)
Connect a Canon to an iPhone or iPad with a USB-C cable and shoot straight into the event.
CamerasCanon EOS cameras. You get live view on the iPad, camera settings, and a shutter button in the app. Sony, Nikon, and Fuji tethering are on the roadmap. Today, shoot those to a Mac with Watch Folder.
Connect1. Plug the camera into the device with a USB-C cable
2. Open the event and start Instant Photo or Photo Booth
3. The camera connects on its own
When you shoot1. The photo comes over to the device
2. It shows in the preview, and the app looks for guests in it
3. It uploads in the background, or waits if there's no signal
Tip: swipe the preview to look back through recent shots.
