How the Gate Behaves for Guests
What guests actually experience when Gallery Gate is on.
When the form appearsBrowsing is always free — guests can look at every photo without registering. The form appears the first time they try to download or share.
One registration per deviceOnce a guest fills the form on their phone, that phone never asks again — through refreshes, return visits, the whole event and after. The unlock is stored on the device.
On a new deviceA different phone, computer, or a private browsing window shows the form again. That’s expected — each device unlocks separately. The re-entry is matched back to the same guest record by email or phone, so your People page shows one person, not duplicates.
What the guest getsAfter registering, downloads unlock right away. If face matching is on for the event, they’re enrolled and their personal gallery starts collecting their photos.
