Common questions

What can the Sharing Station do besides print?

It's one flexible delivery hub. Guests walk up, find their photos, and get them their way — a branded print, a text, an email, or a quick QR scan to their phone. You decide which options are on per event: print-only, digital-only, or all four. Printing is a first-class mode, not the only one.

Can I run it without a printer?

Yes. Turn printing off and run it fully digital — text, email, and scan-to-phone. It's perfect for events with no printer, or where you want guests to leave with their gallery rather than a single print. Flip printing back on any time and it's front-and-center again.

Which printers does it support?

Most DNP, Mitsubishi, and Canon Selphy dye-sub printers — the industry standard for event photo printing. It handles multi-printer setups, auto-routes jobs by queue length to keep wait times down, and alerts staff when paper or ribbons run low. Inkjet printers aren't supported.

How does it keep the photo area clear?

The Sharing Station is a dedicated, self-serve spot away from the camera. Guests step out of the photo-op area to find and share their photos (via Face Match selfie, SMS link, or browsing), so your photographer keeps shooting and the line keeps moving.

Can I cap how many prints each guest gets?

Yes. Per-guest print limits are configurable — 1, 3, 5, unlimited, or whatever matches your paper budget. Once a guest hits their limit, the station offers digital delivery instead. The limit resets per event, so repeat attendees aren't penalized across events.
